North Carolina Shrimp Saute

I tried this recipe last night out of my Country Cooking cookbook. I really liked it and it was easy to make.

1 pound raw shrimp (tails off, deveined)

¼ cup butter or margarine

1 small pepper (green, red, sweet)

2 gloves garlic

8 ounces of mushrooms

8 ounces of linguini (any pasta would work)

½ cup Parmesan cheese

Salt

Pepper

Parsley

Cook Pasta.

Meanwhile melt butter, add mushrooms and peppers sauté a few minutes then add shrimp. Cook 3-5 minutes until shrimp is pink.

Add spices.

Add Shrimp sauté on the noodles and sprinkle with cheese.
