Basque Beans

Mom made this from a lady that she works with that is Basque and she loved it so much she made it and it was great!!

1lb lean ground beef (browned & drained) ADDED A FEW ONIONS
1 can (31oz) pork and beans (drained)
1 can (15.5oz) lima beans (drained)
1 CAN WHITE BEANS
1 can (15.5oz) garbanzo beans (drained)
1 can (15.5oz) kidney beans (drained)
1 CUP BLACK BEANS
1 can (15.5oz) yellow or white hominy (drained)
1 CAN CORN
½ cup chopped green pepper
½ cup chopped red pepper
¼ cup ketchup
¼ cup maple syrup (any kind of pancake syrup will work)
½ cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons vinegar3 or 4 Basque Chorizos (sliced)
Optional: ½ can of water (use one of the bean cans)—add this if cooking all day in the crock pot I always cook mine in a crock pot but you can put it in a casserole dish (sprayed with Pam) and bake in the oven at 350° for 1 hour.
